Atmosphere of 'Hygge'
Anna and Clara are fond of dark winter evenings filled with 'hygge'. Anna puts the kettle on for tea and finds blankets, so she and Clara can keep warm in each their armchair. Clara finds matchsticks and lights the many candles adorning the sisters' home. “We are now ready for a calm and 'hyggelig' evening," says Clara, as she lights the last taper candle in the living room. She sits down in her beloved armchair and wraps herself in the soft blanket, as Anna approaches with the tea. The sisters can sit in their armchairs for hours and fill the silence with laughter and talk, while the candles burn.
